Fergus Pipe Band 2007 Open House and Information Session a Success!!
September 24 , 2007

The Fergus Pipe Band held an Open House and Information Session Saturday, September 22 at the Fergus Curling Club. Given the volume of people that visited, the day was a huge success. We are delighted to announce the addition of 10 new students in the Drumming and Piping instruction program as well as welcome a couple seasoned players.

For anyone that was unable to attend but is interested in learning more about the band and/or would like to discuss Piping and/or Drumming instruction, email the band at info@ferguspipeband.com. You can also contact Pipe Major Jim Stewart at 519-334-3887 or Drum Sergeant Scott Moir at 519-260-0332. Student classes will be commencing soon. If you are even slightly curious, now’s your chance to learn more!

Of course our practices are open to the public. The Band will be moving Tuesday night practices to the Fergus Legion Branch 275 Hall on Blair Street, Fergus for the Winter beginning Tuesday September 25. Practice starts at 7:30pm. Feel free to visit prior to that time to discuss your interest and then you are welcome to stay to see the band practice.

We would like to thank all who attended our Open House and would like to extend a special welcome to those joining the Fergus Pipe Band Family!
