Scott Moir announced that he was stepping down from the Drum Sergeant role after a number of years of service. The members thanked Scott for his dedication to the band. Alex Hobler was elected to the position of Drum Sergeant.
In keeping with the Band’s by-laws, the Pipe Major appointed additional officers. Pipe Major Jim Stewart has appointed Sean Geddes, Grant Bunston, Don Jennings and Chad Green as Pipe Sergeants. Bill McMeekin and David Tinsley have been appointed the rank of Pipe Corporal.
The band is fortunate to have a strong and committed leadership team.

Fergus Pipe Band 2009 Annual General Meeting
