Fergus Pipe Band Celebrates Canada Day

Under the direction of Pipe Major Jim Stewart and Drum Sergeant Scott Moir, pipers and drummers of the Fergus Pipe Band joined in some of Centre Wellington’s Canada Day celebrations.

A mini-band formed at the half way point of the 5k run/walk to encourage the runners and walkers who participated in this event. The early morning tunes were also enjoyed by those who regularly use this section of the Elora Cataract Trailway. The livestock in the field next to the band’s playing position offered no comment.

The full band members marched through Elora as part of that annual Canada Day parade.
