Six pipe bands and the ‘Goderich Laketown Band’ performed for an appreciative crowd under sunny skies in the lovely setting provided in Goderich’s Courthouse Park. At the end of the afternoon the 9th annual massed pipe band moved off and stopped traffic - marching twice around the square.
Thank you to the Celtic Blue Highlanders Pipe Band and in particular Drum Sergeant Kevin Ashton for including the Fergus Pipe Band in this event. We hope to be invited again in 2010.

Fergus Pipe Band in 9th Annual Goderich Massed Band
Under the direction of Piper Myke Hall and Drum Sergeant Scott Moir, pipers and drummers of the Fergus Pipe Band were pleased to be participate in ‘Scottish Flair on the Square’ and the 9th Annual Massed Band all part of the Goderich Kinsmen’s Summerfest on Saturday July 11, 2009.Six pipe bands and the ‘Goderich Laketown Band’ performed for an appreciative crowd under sunny skies in the lovely setting provided in Goderich’s Courthouse Park.
