The Navy Cadets and firefighters participated in the parade in addition to the band and a Legion Colour Guard which included members of other neighbouring legions. A Rededication Service for the Fergus Legion building was held at the end of the parade.
The Fergus Pipe Band is proud of its association with the Fergus Legion, appreciative of the support that the Legion provides the band and respectful of the service that Legion members past and present provide their national and local community.

Fergus Pipe Band Part of Fergus Legion 75th Anniversary Parade
Under the direction of Pipe Major Jim Stewart and Drum Sergeant Alex Hobler, the pipers and drummers from the Fergus Pipe Band formed part of the parade organized by the Fergus Legion (Branch 275 of the Royal Canadian Legion) as part of a weekend of events celebrating their 75th Anniversary.The Navy Cadets and firefighters participated in the parade in addition to the band and a Legion Colour Guard which included members of other neighbouring legions.
