Fergus Pipe Band at the 'Highlands of Durham Games'

Pipers and drummers of the Fergus Pipe Band participated at the ‘Highlands of Durham Games’ held in Elgin Park in Uxbridge Ontario. Under the direction of Pipe Major Jim Stewart and Drum Sergeant Alex Hobler, fifteen pipers and a seven person drum corps were part of the opening and closing nine band massed bands on Saturday. In addition, each of the bands that formed the massed bands performed individually on the grounds during the afternoon to the delight of those who had braved the muggy heat to enjoy the first day of this two day event.
