The day began early for six pipers who lined part of the trail providing encouraging tunes for the participant runners and walkers in Elora's annual 5k Canada Day Run.
A full band of 11 pipers and a drum corps of 10 marched through Elora as part of the annual Dominion Day parade.

Fergus Pipe Band Celebrates Canada Day
Under the direction of Pipe Major Jim Stewart and Drum Sergeant Alex Hobler, pipers and drummers of the Fergus Pipe Band joined in some of Centre Wellington's Canada Day celebrations.The day began early for six pipers who lined part of the trail providing encouraging tunes for the participant runners and walkers in Elora's annual 5k Canada Day Run.
